Architectural Graduate / Architect
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Graduate / Architect, with 3-5 years of post-grad experience in Australia, ideally in Victoria. A solid understanding of Victorian building and planning codes, early design phase involvement, and proficiency in design tools like Adobe InDesign, Archicad, and SketchUp will be highly valued.
As an integral member of the team, you will engage in a range of design tasks including conceptual exploration, research, technical documentation, report preparation and liaising with external consultants and clients. Your work will directly contribute to the development of projects that push the boundaries of design excellence, social responsibility and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of design concepts through research, analysis and collaboration, including visually representing them in renders and diagrams
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards
- Support the preparation of highly resolved and graphically cohesive design presentations and reports
- Provide assistance during contract administration and on-site project delivery
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in the local architecture industry
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Experience in early design phases
- Experience in multi-residential sector (preferred)
- Knowledge of planning, NCC (BCA) codes, and authority regulations
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Archicad, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Enscape is a bonus)
- Full, permanent working rights in Australia
