Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer (or interiors-focused Architect) with 5-8 years post graduate experience to join our growing interiors team, led by Associate Director Bettina Robinson. You’ll be confident working across all project stages, from concept design through to documentation and delivery, with the ability to lead the interiors workstream on medium and large scale projects.

Experience in the multi-residential sector is essential and experience in the commercial and education sectors would be a bonus. Proficiency in Archicad is preferred.

This role will suit someone with a strong design sensibility, collaborative approach, passion for sustainable materials and the confidence to engage with clients, consultants, and suppliers, contributing to the delivery of thoughtful, well-resolved interior environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the development of interior design concepts through research, analysis, and collaboration
  • Prepare detailed documentation and drawings, ensuring design intent and technical accuracy across all stages
  • Preparation of highly resolved and graphically cohesive design presentations and reports
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers throughout the design and delivery process
  • Support and contribute to the broader architectural team, ensuring integrated design outcomes

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5-8 years post graduate experience in an interior design or architecture practice, with a strong interiors focus
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  •   Proven experience in multi-residential projects (commercial or education sector experience highly desirable)
  • Proficiency in Archicad and Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Enscape is a bonus)
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle — from concept to delivery
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Full, permanent working rights in Australia
