Fieldwork is committed to the respectful use and protection of the personal information of its clients and partners.
Our privacy policy regulates the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store and dispose of your personal information.
Collecting information
Fieldwork collects personal information about our clients, consultants, suppliers, employees, job applicants and other businesses and individuals associated with our day-to-day operations. We collect this information directly from you including from your correspondence with Fieldwork employees, subscribing to us through social media accounts and through other means while doing business with you. We may also indirectly collect your personal information from public sources, other businesses that have dealt with you, service providers or others from your organisation.
This information may include personal and professional contact details and may include corporate information that is necessary for the delivery of services to you. Other information such as details of your dealings and communications with us or relating to our business and profile information such as age, qualifications, skills, employment history may also be collected.
Use and disclosure of information
Any personal information we obtain is used to help provide our professional services and manage our relationship with you and your organisation. Fieldwork will not sell, license or otherwise disclose the information to any third party for marketing or other ancillary purposes.
While providing our services Fieldwork may need to disclose your personal information to other parties, if legally obliged. In every instance disclosure of personal information is undertaken only in strict accordance with the Privacy Act.
Security of information
All information Fieldwork holds is protected in a secure environment. Your personal information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.
When your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify this information.
Accessing your details
You may access the personal information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. This is subject to any exemptions outlined in the Privacy Act. If for any reason you are not allowed to access your information, you will be informed of the relevant exemption clause under the Act. If any costs are incurred in relation to information access, Fieldwork may charge a fee for this service.
Opting out
Fieldwork may send direct marketing communications to you via email with your consent where required under applicable laws. If you do not wish to receive direct marketing communications in future, you may opt-out at any time at no cost to you. To do so, please follow the instructions in our emails or contact Fieldwork’s Privacy Officer.
