342 Victoria St, Brunswick
Introducing our largest project yet, a diverse new urban precinct at 342-348 Victoria Street, Brunswick. This project is situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.
Located in the heart of Brunswick, adjacent to Brunswick Train Station and the Upfield Bike Path, the project aims to make a positive contribution to the area through the provision of a generous public realm, the creation of key urban connections, and the introduction of a shared pedestrian and vehicular promenade. This is a genuinely mixed-use precinct with townhouses, home offices, a mix of apartments, shops and a substantial office building.
The project draws on the varied character of the surrounding context, introducing architectural strategies that keep with the placemaking objectives of the area. The ground floor will be activated with a diverse mix of fine grain home offices and larger commercial tenancies, with townhouses wrapping the edges of the site, responding in scale to the existing residential neighbourhood.
Furthering our interest in varied housing typologies, this project introduces the ‘residence over shop’ typology. The three-storey townhouses have a dual key arrangement, allowing residents to live and work with flexibility.
