22 Gordon St, Cremorne
22 Gordon Street is a newly completed office building in the heart of Cremorne, a suburb undergoing rapid transformation and identified as a future Innovation Precinct. The nine-storey building responds to this evolving context by offering flexible planning, meaningful public amenity, and a commitment to high-quality design.
The design takes a clear formal approach by utilising a podium and upper form typology. In response to the anticipated intensification of the context and greater pedestrian activity, the ground level is set back from the street to allow for the footpath to widen. This gesture is intended to be a reference point for future adjacent developments along the southern side of Gordon Street.
Thebuilding’s height references the surrounding commercial buildings andwarehouses, mediating between existing and emerging scales. Upper-levelsetbacks to the north and west introduce a landscaped edge at level 4.
