1 Wilson Avenue
Situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, 1-7 Wilson Avenue is a cornerstone multi-residential project committed to delivering high-quality internal and external amenity across its residential, communal, and commercial spaces. It is best characterised as an “all-rounder” development, with a holistic view on communal urban living, mixed-use programming, sustainability benchmarks, natural landscaping and architecture that responds and contributes positively to the vital urban character of its broader Brunswick context.
A bookend to Jewell Station, the project aims to act as a positive future development precedent for neighbouring sites on the block, in particular by demonstrating the residential and civic value of generously landscaped set-back zones and street-level ‘pocket-tenancy’ activation.
The project sits within Brunswick’s rich context of old and new built forms. As such, the design aims not only to respond to the potentials of the site itself, but also to pay homage to the existing neighbourhood character and extend acts of civic generosity beyond the site proper.
